I bought these chairs because I liked the way they looked and the price was right. The chairs were packed very well, arrived undamaged and all the parts were included. They were pretty easy to assemble. My son and I put all four chairs together in about an hour.
The chairs look exactly like the picture except the seat appears to be a bit darker than pictured. Now here comes the problem. After all four chairs were assembled, I asked my son to sit down and let me know how the chair felt. Well, both of us are not large people, he is approximately 5'10" and 165# (I guess, I'm not too good at estimating a man's weight) and I'm about 5'3", 125#. His comment to me was that the chair was okay but not for siting for a long period of time. When I sat down in the chair I understood what he meant. The seat is very plush and comfortable but the back is too straight and the wood kept digging into my back. I had to move around to find a more comfortable position. I'm keeping the chairs for now but someday in the future, if I find a more comfortable and affordable alternative, I'll replace them.
